In today's competition among different industries, their
products must be presentable and provide information at the same time. Booklet
labels are multi-panel fold out labels that is laminated to the pressure
sensitive label. They can be custom printed anywhere depending on the
preference of the sellers. They are mostly resealing and removable. Booklet
labels help by creatively place any volume of information on a product in such
a way that the product would not look like it is cluttered with text. They keep
the product simple and clean externally while not withholding information to
the customers; thus they make the product more marketable. They have several
names to which they can be called: Expanded Content Label (ECL), extended text
label, multipage label, copy expansion labels, leaflet labels, fold-out labels,
multi-ply labels, etc. All to which serve the same purpose of providing
information about the product utilizing the small space a product has.
Booklet
labels were originally used for pharmaceutical products such as over the
counter drugs and doctor prescribed drugs. But today, booklet labels are now
being used in a variety of industries such as food sold in the supermarket,
body products, electronic gadgets, chemical products, home and garden products
and the like. These booklet labels can be found in front labels of products
such as in deodorant or mouthwash, on top of the lid of certain bottles such as
in prescribed drugs or in many other ways.
Different booklet labeling companies have developed several
techniques in creating booklet labels for different products. A common
technique is to 'fold-out' the label to reveal more information inside; this is
usually seen in bottled products such as ketchup or bleach. Another is to
construct pages which can be flipped through like an actual book. This enables
companies to present and expand information in their products. The pressure
sensitive label is the most popular material used in placing booklet labels on
products.
There are several uses booklet
labels have in expanding product information - product information,
compliance data, nutritional facts, food recipes, on-pack product promotions,
certain promos or contests, and instructions in multiple languages such as
French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. Booklet labels can provide this large
volume of information in small spaces, which is useful in promoting and
expanding information to the customers.
